OMI Family Resource Center

All Programs and Services are FREE of charge:

- Information and Referrals
- Case Management (focusing on employment, housing, and other basic needs)
- Clinical Case Management with a registered intern therapist (case management with clinical support)
- Support Groups (Mens, Womens, Seniors, and Chinese)
- Basic Needs assistance (Emergency Food bag, MUNI Tokens, and Food Pantry registration)
- Computer, Fax and Copier access
- Parenting classes (evidence-based Positive Parenting Program - Triple P)
- Educational Workshops for adults and families

***Light meals, as well as Child Watch, for on-site program participants

- Weekly Food Pantry: Every Tuesday, 10:00 am - 11:30 pm at Minnie and Lovie Recreation Center (650 Capitol Ave.) **Registration is required

- Community Events:
*Dinner and A Movie: Third Friday of each Month (January to October) 5-7pm at Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center (650 Capitol Ave.)
*Toy Giveaway (in collaboration with OMI-NIA)
*Kwanzaa (in collaboration with Southwestern Neighborhood Improvement Group - SNIG)
*Lunar New Year (in collaboration with Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center)
*Egg Hunt (in collaboration with SNIG)
*Backpack Giveaway (in collaboration with Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center)

The OMI Family Resource Center offers a safe and welcoming environment that aims to engage families in services that build on current strengths

OMI Family Resource Center is a program of Urban Services YMCA, which is a branch of YMCA of San Francisco. Urban Services is the Y without walls, the social services arm of the YMCA of San Francisco.

Our mission is to provide life-changing programs that strengthen families, build successful communities, and promote educational excellence.

Monday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; 1 pm - 3 pm
Wednesday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; 1 pm - 3 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; 1 pm - 3 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The OMI Family Resource Center’s mission is to empower families living in the Oceanview, Merced and Ingleside neighborhoods through services aimed at strengthening relationships, building community and fostering healthy lifestyles.
